  • Hunger: Crankiness, fatigue and the inability to concentrate are just a few of the side effects caused by hunger pangs. As it turns out, it's more than just your rumbling tummy at work. When people begin losing weight, the levels of ghrelin, a hunger hormone, increase. To combat the effects, make sure you're eating on a regular schedule so that your body can adjust. Eating lean proteins can help keep you fuller longer, reducing the occurrence as well.
  • Toxins: When you begin to lose weight, free radicals and other environmental pollutants that have been sealed inside fat cells are released into your bloodstream and can cause unpleasant side effects such as weakness, fatigue and a general yucky feeling. This is a temporary sort of system flush; however, if you're looking to relieve the symptoms, make sure you're eating a healthy diet filled with nutrient-rich fruits and vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and antioxidants. Also aim to get at least 8-10 hours of sleep each night. Getting the necessary amount of sleep nightly is critical to your health, especially when you're losing weight.
  • Poor Nutrition: Since you'll be consuming considerably less calories, you've got to make sure you're making the most of those you do take in by eating foods that have high nutritional values. Fruits and vegetables that are laden with vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals are the foundation of a healthy diet, and should be supplemented with whole grains, lean proteins, and small amounts of dairy and unsaturated fats.

Weight loss can be a tough process, but if you're dedicated you can see fantastic results. Just stay true to your goal and try and keep in mind how great you'll feel once you reach your ideal weight.
