Relaxation Day is Aug. 15, but that’s not the only day that you should chill out and find time for yourself. Here are three relaxing ideas for winding down and doing the activities you love.

 

Soak up the sun. What better way to relax than going to the beach? Take a few deep breaths, immerse yourself in the water, and let your stress melt away. Sunlight helps prevent depression and boosts serotonin levels.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Plan a day out. Go on a picnic in the park, do a little gardening, or take a weekend trip. The whole idea is to plan a day out and try new things. Spend time outdoors and try fun activities like hiking, basketball, golf, tennis, and camping. Connecting with nature is a great way to calm your mind.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Go to the spa. Nothing compares to a relaxing massage, a soothing body wrap, or a mud bath in a tranquil setting. All you have to do is to check out the local spa and book your favorite treatments.
